The car you see above is owned and driven by Andrew Fernandez of San Dimas Auto.

This car has collected 4 track records in its first season, and is currently the fastest EP car on the west coast.

Our Miata Race Suspension was initially designed in 2003 for this car to run in SCCA's Limited Prep EP class. Since then it has been used with great success in everything from autocross to street/track toys.

We are currently re-designing the system. It's too early to give all the details,but the new system will be all aluminum, and will feature an aluminum rear upright.

Below is a screen capture from early in the design stage. What you see is a mock upright (Only the pivot points are dimensionally correct) and a front lower control arm. The lower arms in the new system will be fixed, as the rod ends have been replaced with a lighter, and more rigid spherical bearing arrangement.

Camber and caster adjustment will be done on the upper arm with shims. Each adjustment will be completely independant of the other which will reduce many alignment headaches.

We are working to have parts available by January, and will post details to the site as the design progresses.
