Product Selection and Support: Purchasing a Motec product is not like purchasing an air filter, or a muffler. Sure, you can add it to your shopping cart and wait for Fed Ex to drop it at your doorstep, but unlike your air filter or muffler, you can't hurriedly slap it on the night before the race. When you purchase a Motec ECU, or Dash Logger, you are getting a very sophisticated product that requires proper setup, and careful planning.

Since most Motec products have nearly limitless capabilities, choosing the correct model, and applying its numerous functions properly are the key to getting the most for your money. While its generally true that you get what you pay for, if you purchase and install a Motec product with no prior experience, you will probably not get your moneys worth. At least not until you figure it all out!

The good news is that you do not have to be an expert to get the most from your Motec ECU, or Dash logger. You just need to purchase it from a dealer who is commited to ensuring that you realize its full potential. That means that we need to be involved right from the beginning. We need to understand the application, your goals, and what you may want to accomplish with future upgrades. We also need to be involved in the initial setup. This involves getting the appropriate information from you, and then supplying a setup file to get you started.

So...you can't simply add an ECU to your shopping cart, and wait for Fed Ex to deliver it. At least not here at Yawpower.

This probably makes it seem as if we want you to jump through a lot of hoops just to Purchase a Motec product. Actually, the opposite is true. We want to make it easy for you, and to do that we need to work with you from beginning to end.
